The Castle Grace Services Story
Castle Grace Services, LLC Founder, Patti Moran, lives on the Farm of Castle Grace in Neshanic Station, NJ. The name comes from a very small town in Ireland where her Grandparents lived. When Patti decided to consult, it was natural to have the business called “Castle Grace Services”.
Patti’s father, John B. Henderson, was a Tool & Die maker at Sarco Manufacturing in Allentown, PA. He worked at Sarco by night and then owned and operated “Henderson Engineering” in the evening. He always said that Henderson Engineering came “alive at 5.”
Patti’s mother, Catherine Leary Henderson, was a stay-at-home mom, who was very involved in helping others and practicing good “conservation” skills. She made her own bread, canned tomatoes, peaches, pears, and anything that grew in her husband’s garden. She made bingo prizes for the local nursing home and never missed a local garage sale.
Patti, like her mom, never misses a local garage sale and proudly tells people that her home is decorated in “Early Garage Sale!”
The apples certainly have not fallen far from the tree. Patti and her husband, Jim, had two children: Bradley and Mackenzie. They couldn’t be prouder of them. Bradley gained his grandfather’s mechanical skills and is now an Associate Director at Merck Pharmaceuticals in West Point, PA. He owns and operates Henderson Equipment which also “comes alive at 5.” Henderson Equipment is a small family business that buys, repairs, and sells farm, lawn, and construction equipment.
Mackenzie Moran owns the farm, Homewood Acres, two doors away from Castle Grace. Mackenzie, like Patti, is very involved in Workforce Development. She is employed as the National Director of Career Services for Lincoln Tech. Mackenzie, like her grandmother, cans peaches and pears, makes assorted jams, and is known for her outstanding “pepper relish.”
All three of them have beautiful gardens and compost piles! Patti has a small vegetable stand where she sells eggs and vegetables all on the honor system.
Through these values and with this entrepreneurial spirit, CGS makes a critical impact for building and extending business success for our clients.
